Barnet Sports Leader Awards

Congratulations to Kelsey Brown of Year 10 for the thoroughly well deserved recognition from Barnet as being an outstanding Sports Leader.

Kelsey has been engaged with the St James' Sports Leadership program for 3 Years.

During that time, she has devoted more than 100 hours leading sports events in the local community as well as assisting and leading clubs after school at St James' with Year 7 and 8 students.

Kelsey has made an outstanding contribution to leading young people in a variety of sports events for Barnet Primary Schools ranging from multi-skills,tag rugby, athletics, teddy bear picnics, summer sports festival,  5 a side football and BBN1 disability events.

An amazing young student, Kelly instils confidence in young people to achieve their best. Her warm personality is infectious and she puts all young people in her care at ease.

Kelsey has benefited immensely from leading events as she herself has gained confidence and improved her self-esteem. She is a delightful student who is respected by her peers and teachers.

St James' is immensely proud of her achievements.
