Personal Finance Teacher of the Year Awards

Congratulations to Miss Whelan who was runner-up in the national Moneywise Personal Finance Teacher of the Year Awards.

Miss Whelan was nominated for her workshops on Fair trade initiatives and presentations that she has provided on "Learning from Billionaires" and on "Financial Stewardship".

The judges praised her limitless enthusiasm and passion for teaching her students about money, as well as her commitment to improving her own financial knowledge.

The awards were presented by ITV's Kate Garraway at a gala dinner in central London  and as runner-up Miss Whelan earned the school a prize of £1500.
