St James Catholic School delivers another fantastic set of GCSE results!
St James Catholic School in Barnet is proud to announce another spectacular set of GCSE results. Headteacher, Anthony Ellull, said, “These results are a testament to the fantastic education provided at our school, where academic excellence is complemented by the development of character, integrity, and a deep sense of compassion and service to others. Our students are not only academically prepared for their next steps, but also well grounded and ready to make meaningful contributions to the world.”
Results were strong across the board, yet some individual subject areas shone. Biology, Chemistry, and Physics all achieved 100% 9-5 grades. Community languages also excelled, with Chinese, Russian, and Persian each securing 100% Grade 8/9.
Head of Year 11, John Knibb, commented, “Completing GCSEs can be a trying time, but the perseverance and hard work our pupils have demonstrated has been admirable and these results show the rewards of their efforts. We are excited to welcome a great many students back to join our sixth form in September and we wish those moving to new places the very best of luck.”
Highlights from individual students include: Roy with 99999998876, Stephanie with 99998888777, Chelsea with 998888777 and Distinction*Distinction, Colin with 9999998887, and Angus with 9999998766.
Chelsea said of her results, “After opening the envelope, a wave of relief washed over me. I had put in a lot of effort throughout the school year, hoping to achieve the results I wanted, and now I can see that all my hard work has paid off.
As I prepare to start my sixth form journey at a new school, I'll be taking Psychology, Biology, English Language, and an EPQ to get ready for A-levels and university!
I want to extend a big thank you to all the teachers who provided us with countless resources and support during those stressful times, and to my friends who stood by me through the GCSEs. Congratulations to everyone today for all your hard work!”
Stephanie added, “"I'm so happy with my results and excited to start my new subjects in September. Thank you to my teachers for all their support!"”
