Ski Trip 2024

During the Easter break many of our Year 9 and 10 pupils traveled to Andorra.

They enjoyed picture-perfect conditions along the mountain range between France and Spain. Encamp is a small town and the third most populated parish of the six parishes of Andorra. It lies within the Grandvalira ski area which boosts slopes for all abilities. From Encamp the slopes are easily reached by Funicamp cable car. The Funicamp takes about 20 minutes from the bottom to the top, where our ski school meeting point was.

The pupils stayed at the Evenia Orsos, a lovely hotel situated in the heart of Encamp, just a few meters from the Grandvalira ski area.

Excited to be learning a new skill, our pupils had five hours of daily ski lessons with a fully qualified instructor. They had a fantastic time and threw themselves wholeheartedly into the skiing and time spent with their friends and teachers!
