Spoken word artist Jasmine Gardosi Visit

To celebrate National Poetry Day 2022, we welcomed spoken word artist Jasmine Gardosi, to share her work and beats with our students. 

Pupils learnt how to beat-box like a pro and Jasmine reinforced the importance of staying true to yourself and creativity as a form of expression. To complete her visit, Jasmine led a special workshop with selected students in Year 10 and help an impromptu Q&A session in the library led by Ms Noor Mahomed.

We hope that Jasmine inspired students to enter this Year's Young Writers' poetry competition; we are very excited to read through the entries!
