We seek to appoint for September 2024, a specialist teacher to lead the Geography department. The school currently offers Geography at KS4 and 5, and Travel & Tourism at KS4. Geography is a popular subject with a strong uptake at GCSE.
Our idea candidate will be:
- A well-qualified geographer with experience of leadership of an area of the curriculum, perhaps as a 2i/c or similar.
- An outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record of excellent results and a compelling vision for improvement.
- A team player, able to lead and inspire colleagues and pupils alike.
- Able to teach to A-level.
- Aligned with the culture and ethos of our Catholic school.
